Is email marketing social?
Email recipients are more likely to share marketing content on Facebook than on other social networks according to a survey GetResponse, an email marketing software company. Also, adding social sharing buttons to marketing emails significantly increases click-through rates.
The survey showed that less than 20 per cent of email marketers include social sharing buttons within their content. Considering the exceptionally-high performance results for newsletters that include social sharing buttons ( an average click-through-rate (CTR) 115% higher), you’d wonder why more email marketers are not jumping into social.
